BAodn Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is one way to become more involved in BAodn activities and build networks - and there are many opportunities available.  This is an opportunity for you to share your leadership skills with us! BAodn is, and always has been about, for, and run by volunteers. Volunteers are BAodn. Without you we are not what we need to be. Open Board Positions

To become a member of the BAODN Board, we ask that you have volunteered in some capacity to the organization as a committee member or lead, and have been a BAODN member for one year.  The Board Year runs from June to May of each year and is a three-year commitment.

Secretary: Responsible for managing and maintaining the legal documentation and formal processes for the organization, including organizing and maintaining records of meetings of the Board.

Other Open Volunteer Roles

Events: Currently, we are seeking enthusiastic Events Volunteers to assist with BAODN events. If organizing events and meeting new people are "your thing," give this opportunity a try.

Publication Program: Our volunteer editor is building a team to support our publications program. We seek a Research Assistant, a Student Article Editor, and several Advisory Committee Members. If you are juggling school or work responsibilities, one of these positions just might fit your schedule.

In addition to regular monthly events, the annual Best in the West conference, held in the Spring, is BAodn's signature conference. Volunteers are important contributors to the success of the conference.
