Chanterria currently works as the first employee of a Pharmaceutical startup. She has over 16 years of experience with large global organizations, small businesses and two of her own successful start-ups. She has held senior positions for companies such as Arthur Andersen, Charles Schwab, and Kaiser Permanente. My passion is Board-level restructuring, operational optimization, and strategic leadership change management. An in-depth exposure to the international business environment is an added value that she enjoys bringing to all organizations.

Katherine Kott is enthusiastic about improving organizational effectiveness! As Manager of Strategic Digital Projects and Organizational Development at Stanford University Libraries, she provides team building, facilitation, and organizational design services as an internal consultant. She also manages a range of technical projects and a development team. Technology has changed library and information services dramatically over the course of Katherine’s career. She has been at the forefront of major organizational change efforts in a range of information services organizations from college and research libraries to software companies and loosely structured collaborative projects. Katherine is also an active participant in community-based organizations and applies her experience as a volunteer to building a successful volunteer program for BAodn. Katherine has an MA in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University and a MS in Library Science from Wayne State University. She is currently working on her PhD at Fielding.

I am a futurist interested in helping organizations align goals, strategy, people, and tools for maximum success. My diverse background spans education, political organizing, office administration, website programming & analytics, knowledge management, and social media technology. I am completing an MA in Organizational Psychology at Alliant International University’s Marshall Goldsmith School of Management. I’m excited about supporting the process and technology needs of the BAodn board and membership.

Over the past decade, Riley has served as a business developer, high performance team creator and manager, and account executive for fortune 100 telecommunications companies such as AT&T and Comcast. After completing his graduate education, he transitioned and began practicing organizational development by facilitating a company wide leadership training and succession plan project for C and VP level leadership at Energy Recovery Inc, a global leader in recovering energy costs associated with the desalination process. Riley is an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) panel member of the Contra Costa County Superior Courts where he serves as a mediator. Riley is a board member, and the director of strategic initiatives for Bay Area Organizational Development Network.

Jeff is currently the Principal Consultant at iBridged Consulting, a sales and sell-through performance management consulting firm.  He has of two decades of executive sales leadership experience leading people and companies to reach goals previously thought to be unattainable. Working with and for brand name companies like Apple, HP, Xerox, Microsoft and many others, Jeff understands the complexity and strategic nature of communications.  Because of Jeff’s leadership experience and solid communication skills, he brings a highly complimentary element to strengthen and balance our Board.  Jeff is currently completing his Master of Science degree in Organization Development at University of San Francisco.  Jeff's philosophy is, problems are just opportunities seeking the right communications strategy.

Melody Bin Chen was born in Hunan Province, Southern China. As a dynamic and performance-driven professional, Melody has 17 years of global experience and education with multi-billion high tech corporations spanning Business Development, Project Management, Balanced Scorecard Management, Quality and Customer Satisfaction Management, and more recently Training and Organization Development. The companies Melody has worked with include: Korn Ferry International, Flextronics International, Siemens AG and Lucent Technologies (now Alcatel-Lucent). Currently, Melody is living in Northern California, United States and is completing her Masters Degree from Pepperdine’s University’s International Organization Development program. She is well equipped and committed to applying her cross-cultural organization development experience and knowledge to this community of continuously practicing OD professionals.

Ed Shirhall, Webmaster

I am a specialist in the sociotechnical systems subset of OD, and the Principal of Shirhall and Company Consultants, a management and computer technology consultancy dedicated to the enhancement of organizational effectiveness and employee growth. While past clients have included the likes of the State of California and TRW, focus is now applied to small organizations such as travel agencies, medical offices, and not for profit organizations. Additionally, my professional experience includes thirty years in a variety of management, manufacturing, administrative, marketing, and consulting assignments within IBM Corporation, seventeen years as co-owner of a large land and property management firm, and fifteen years as an instructor at the University of Phoenix.

Alyea Sandovar is originally from Colombia, South America. She has a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology. She has experience working in a variety of settings including management consulting, academia, and non profits. Her experience includes early childhood mental health, human performance consultation, change management, and program development. She is currently working toward her PhD in Human Organizational Development and serves as BAodn's Blog Editor. Her personal goal is to support human and organizational development toward a better, kinder, greener, more conscious, socially equal world. She loves traveling and feels most at home in her native Colombia. She loves all things existential and lives in San Rafael, CA.

Rani Gill is learning designer looking at ways to help people learn and organizations change. She speaks, manages, and designs in three languages: technology, education and business. She has 10+ years in Learning and ExecEd with a focus on professional services. Prior to that she worked in the non-profit sector in arts and community development, and on her first passion -- community radio. Currently she is a consulting in the area of learning design and organizational change.
