Always sensitive to hidden aspects of organizational life and consulting, Roger Harrison's recent explorations have included bringing one's spiritual life into one's work and releasing the power of love in organizations -- the focus of this workshop. "By failing to examine love in organizations, we only prevent ourselves from accessing its powerful healing and creative aspects." To fully engage each attendee in exploring this topic, Roger utilizes an open space format and the support of a graphic recorder. Please join us in this unique experience!
Roger is a former long time member of BAODN who now lives on Whidbey Island, Washington.
In a career spanning fifty years, Roger Harrison, consultant, trainer, and theorist, has influenced nearly every phase of the birth and growth of the discipline of organization development (OD) - from its beginnings within the sensitivity training seminars of the sixties to its current role in shaping the way organizations respond to chaotic times. His work with such organizations as Shell International, Chevron
Research, SRI International, and Xerox has brought him recognition worldwide as an expert in the real-world practice of OD, while his challenging vision has strongly shaped the way two generations think about the nature of organizations and the potential of the OD profession.
In advance of the workshop you may download a copy of Roger Harrison's paper: Accessing the Power of Love in the Workplace.
